It was an honor to warm up the audience before one of our inspirations! Rebirth Brass Band has done much to spread the NOLA brass band tradition. And we have adapted that through the filter of the wild diversity of Durham and the Triangle region of NC.
We did our thing from 7:00 to 7:50PM in front of UNC Memorial Hall Friday Aug. 22.

We kick off the Durham Mardi Gras revelry at Pinhook Sat. Jan. 25, along with the Beauty Operators and fire performers. Come dance and compare your costume preparations with your community! Maybe join a Krewe too.

The Mardi Gras Parade is Fat Tuesday, March 4, starting at 7 PM from the bronze bull in CCB Plaza. All ages, children-friendly event – a people powered parade!
